. . . in the very midst of the most luxuriously relaxing weekend and
sundays are always the loveliest of days . . . there has been time for books and music and handwritten letters, lattes and glossy magazines and tables for two at new restaurants, cut-crystal glasses of chianti and daffodils in spring gardens, sunlight on gold leaf and fallen petals on venetian glass, and most of all, there has been time for making plans . . .

hope you're having a wonderfully lovely weekend & that it's beautiful where you are, roséline xo

. . . . and if
the weekend was a luxury, it's monday, monday and there's dashing here & there, coffee and late starts, appointments to book and letters to post, and most of all, a now-unavoidable inbox that is positively overflowing, and there is a myriad of new and beautiful things to tell you this week, but for now, a few moments to organize and plan, and to catch my breath . . .

à bientôt‎/see you soon & hope your week is off to a perfect start,
xo

{countdown to the royal wedding: high tea}

. . . and with
the royal wedding merely days away, there is talk of duchesse satin gowns and horse-drawn carriages and happily ever after, and if you're hosting a tea party to mark the momentous occasion, be certain to serve vanilla bean buttercream cake, scones and profiteroles, and vanilla & coconut macarons, of course . . .

. . . mirrored
beside tables & shoe displays, desks, consoles, and even coffee carafes and shoes . . . as with chandeliers and bits of gold, there is something about mirrors that add such elegance, and while vanities have always been ultra-glamorous, when mirrored, things are elevated to another level entirely. . .

{p.s.} more mirrored vanities here & here
